County Civil Department
Inquire here about filing court cases less than $15,000 and Small Claims Court. The County Civil Division handles small claims actions in which damages being sought for a total of up to $8,000 and civil actions in which the damages being sought or the matter in controversy total $8,000.01 to $30,000.
